“Congratulations, a graduation…” blah blah blah…you know how this rendition goes. ;)

I’m a party pooper, as I didn’t want to go to this graduation (nor the next one – sad, I know) but I’ve been persuaded by my dear friend and, of course, my mother. Although, it has to be said that I am getting excited by the prospect of seeing the interior of Symphony Hall, rather then the occasion itself.

Now it’s probably too late to turn back as I’ve been “accepted” and brought two tickets, but there is just one problem though…I’ve tried hiring a gown but they don’t have my previous course on the drop down menu. In order to get to the buying of the gown part I need to choose my past course. No gown = sticking out like a sore thumb. I think I’m going to have to give the hirers a call, which I’m not looking forward to. You see…not only do I look younger than my age but I also sound young – I admit to having an annoying voice that might provoke some into throttling me. :P Oh well, it has to be done. Fortunately I have a good few months before the actually ceremony.

Anyone else graduating (if so, congratulations and what course?) or already graduated? What should I expect?

Many of my friends will be graduating coming December as well, whereas I have one more semester to go!

All I can say is this … expect loads of photo-taking. ;)

I graduated a couple of years ago from York Uni, it was an ace day…! I felt so grand walking around in my cap and gown!

We had the party a month or so before, and hired out York racecourse, wore pretty dresses and there was a fun fair and casino there too… Oh! And a chocolate fountain, it was pretty ace actually.

You can’t miss yours… It’ll be so much fun!
