Sorry, I can’t spell check for my life. Bear with my poorly checked entries.
After a nice 3 weeks off from university I’m glad to be back. There is probably only so much of the holiday I can take before I start revving to work. Yes, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a sad geek; it’s also been confirmed by my friend so there’s no contesting.
The Christmas holiday was great. Probably the best since I was being productive. My sister and I learnt how to make a lasagne and Cottage Pie. :9 Oh, how I crave for more slices. We also made a birthday cake for my dad, which looked okay but tasted very bitter due to the extreme amounts of dark chocolate. My dad liked it though, which was the main thing. There were also other things but I’ll leave those because they don’t sound yummy, haha.
So, yeah, it’s good to be back. Today was mainly about discussing design – I’ve got a final design for the competition – and getting results back for the bowl project. The next project is a team presentation, about…duh…duh…duh…knives. Yep, you read that right – knives. The present, the future and the history of knives. Should be interesting. Might also help, with the project after, looming. We have three weeks for presentation and then, I’m presuming, we’re actually designing and making knives. Out of silver, I think. Exciting stuff.
Does anyone else feel the same about holidays? Or would you prefer it if they were longer?
Welcome to my - Annie's - personal blog. Here is where you can read my ramblings and feeble attempts at humour.

I had 2 weeks off from school and felt like I needed more. I dunno, I haven’t been feeling in a work mood for a while. There are other things I was looking forward to in school, though.
The project about knives definitely sounds interesting
I hope it goes well!

Ah, I had three weeks…
Althought I am starting to reconsider what I said earlier, with there being a presentation in all.

I’ve had like a month off, and can’t wait to get back to school. I’ve run out of things to keep me occupied.
Hm. History of knives? That actually does sound kind of interesting…

I personally DO wish the holidays were much, much longer. Mine lasted a month, but not yet enough to satisfy me. Time just seems to fly by so much faster when one is relaxed/having fun, but slows to a crawl when we are hard at work.
And speaking of presentations – I have one next week. Ack.
