Before I even attemped to bake a lasagne I always thought it was tricky and difficult. However, I gave it a go and found out that the task wasn’t as daunting as I first assumed.
For ingredients all you need is: 1 jar of red/tomato sauce, 1 jay of white sauce, 450g minced beef, lasagne sheets and 100g grated cheese.
To make the lasagne:
- Preheat oven to 200°C/Gas mark 6. With a fan assisted over reduce heat to 160°C
- Cook the mince meat until brown, then add the red/tomato sauce
- Layer half of the beef and tomato mixture into your dish
- Cover with a layer of lasagne sheet (do not add more layering otherwise your sheets won’t cook)
- Add a layer of half the white sauce on top
- Repeat the layering process 3-5 again
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top and voilà it’s ready to be bunged into the oven
- Bake for about 35 minutes. When done, remove from oven and leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving
Yummy!

I think lasagna is one of those things that looks complicated, but is actually quite easy to make.
My mom and I always make something kind of similar to lasagna. It’s an Egyptian thing; and it uses bashamil sauce instead… I don’t think it’s the same as the white sauce you mentioned.

^ Oo, I might give the bashamil sauce a try.

I love lasagne, especially the WeightWatchers frozen one. ;P
I will give this a go, thanks!

ARGHHHHHH LASAGNE!
I always wanted to learn how to make that but was too lazy to hunt for a recipe. I’d most likely give yours a try!
I am an absolute sucker for lasagne, quite evidently.
