You know those customer who order things online, wait eagerly for their package to dispatch and deliver, only for them not to be home to sign for the package, thus needing the delivery person to take back to the depot, then redeliver the next day?

Do you know the same customer who continues this process for almost every online purchase?  It’s annoying isn’t it?  It’s almost as annoying as my constant questioning.  In fact, it’s probably extremely irritating.

Note to customer:  be home, make sure someone’s home or, alternatively, get off your lazy butt and physically go to the shops.

Who am I talking about, you might ask?  Um…me1 *looks down in shame*.

  1. In my defence I had asked for someone to be home for the delivery of mp3 <- just remembered that that package was actually signed for :P   In terms of the mp3 case, well, I thought it’d fit through the letter box…how wrong am I? []

I shop online a lot too, although I rarely have this problem since I often buy locally, and the items can fit into my mailbox anyway (and doesn’t require signing).

And yes, you! Be home! (; Remember how excited you are about receiving the goods while placing your order? Maintain that excitement until the goods land on your lap! :P

@Brenda: Yes, I really should be home more often but a little thing called uni. prevents me from doing so. :P
