A fire started at a factory, directly opposite uni. It started at roughly 1:45pm and we were allowed back into uni. at about 3:15pm. Thankfully no one was hurt. It was quite an adventure and exciting seeing all the action. Outside was cold though, typically that was the one time I wasn’t wearing my scarf. :/ The hassle the servicemen had to go through though…turning into the junction…stopping…reversing out…normal traffic getting in the way and not letting them get the job done…having to drive around to the other end of the street.

The funny thing? I was told that workers in that factory were on their smoking break and didn’t realise. People in my class were pointing out the fire but they still didn’t quite grasp why there were so many people staring. Oh and it looked as if someone had drove off with a bit of the chimney which got burnt off. Rear door open, chimney for all to see…hmm…
