Here I present a paper doll of England from the much loved manga and anime ‘Hetalia’. I made it as a birthday gift for my sister who loves Hetalia. This will be the first and last time I make something like this. I forgot how much of a task cutting and gluing is for me – no patience. However, I think England turned out quite good – it looks identical to the graphic of the finished product.
Now I can finally1 get onto the card. For the card I’m going to attempt some origami, which I’m a bit rusty with. Again, going with the Hetalia theme. Since this card isn’t going to be a bog-standard card I have a feeling it might require some maths – yikes!
If you want to make your own Hetalia paper doll then here are the websites I used:
- Instructions to the construction of the paper dolls. The tutorial uses a template of France but I’m guessing the instructions are mostly applicable for the other characters.
- The patterns for each character. Each pattern includes a picture of the completed paper doll.
- It took me a few hours to complete this. Mind, I was working on other things at the same time so I didn’t help myself there. [↩]
