Any advice or opinions are welcomed with open arms.  There’s something(s) about the layout which I’m not too sure about but if it gets flagged up then I’ll definitely look into modifying the mentioned bits.

N.B. The CSS is not valid – that’s due to me incorporating CSS3 elements – nor does the HTML but that’s not really important²

1. Strange, considering I’m not that keen on the colour green, or peas for that matter.
2. I always seem to get a problem with validation due to the search form, after every new layout as well.  Bane. Oh well, here’s to looking into the problem once again. XD

Tumble weeds will roll by more often as I’ve got nothing interesting to post (have I ever? ) and I’m currently working on a layout.  It’s coming along okay and almost complete, except I’m stumped on how to style the comments.  I’m also getting glitches which images and don’t have a foggiest for the solution.

Don’t really know how I feel about the layout, which is never a good sign but it’s a learning process.  Also I feel the layouts different to my other monstrous creations, which is always good.

Hmm…maybe I’ll post about football-related thoughts.  It’s interesting and very appealing to the whole public…

I’ve got the whole layout looking how I want…on Firefox.  IE – 8 might I add – on the other hand…grr.  It’s all nice and dandy going IE > Page > View compatibility but that’s not exactly catering to you, is it?  I’ve looked through my CSS but can’t seem to resolve the padding issues, and I’ve been scratching my head on that for a couple of days. :/

Knowing me it probably is a simple solution but I’m just not seeing it.

[edit 23:14]Managed to solve one padding problem.  Now just to get ’round the other one.   IE still doesn’t render the site how I want but looks as if I’m just going to have to stick it for now.[/edit]

How did you come up with your blog name?

I’ve been fiddling around with this layout for a couple of days.  During the process I’ve discovered just how inferior my coding knowledge is.  XD  Anyway, I’ve still got some tweeking to do and I’m sure I’ll have more puzzles to solve once I’ve seen it on IE.  O.o

So, when you browser websites which are aimed for potential consumer what do you look for?

I think it’s time to say goodbye to the blogsphere.  I’m starting my hunt in finding a good-looking football, with a bucket load of money.  Yes, that’s right, I’m going to become a WAG – one who will be living on her husband’s/boyfriend’s money.

Only joking of course!  The real and more feasible reason is that I’m making huge (…?) changes to this site.  Now I’m at a point in my life where I have to start getting my tush in gear and making things happen.  This site will be turning into a portfolio site, and stay a portfolio site.  As I doubt having a blog (e.g ranting about PMS) would look professional to potential customers and commission work.    So, if you get that bored and decide to visit this site again, don’t get startled by any “drastic” changes you may see, heh.

I want to get a personal site up and running again but, with time constraints (I should really be getting on with designs right now), I may have to delay that idea.  I’ll probably whore my personal site’s URL on twitter, if I get around to putting one up.

Read on to know the nitty gritty detail.

As my previous post mentioned (referring to I Won, I Won) I had to call the office lady to say that I was going.  I was told I won an award the awards ceremony would start at 8pm (mAward y mum was told the same time on Wednesday).

After work I got ready and actually made the effort (less than 24 hours notice didn’t give me much to work with, I lack formal clothing…), I wore a dress *shockhorror shockhorror*.  Yes, that’show rare it is to see me in one.    My whole family came which was great, and the first!  We arrived a few of minutes earlier only to find that the doors were closed.  That could only mean on thing…the ceremony had started.  I didn’t want to go in because it’s hugely disrepectful to turn up late and interrupt.  We went into anyway and caught the very end of the show; the end speech.  My tutor came up to me at the end and told me it started at 7pm.  I could only stand at the back of the church embarassed and apologetically.  I couldn’t believe I had turned up nearly an hour late.  I don’t know how many times I apologised that night but I was thoroughly annoyed with myself.  I was introduced to…I’d know if I was actually there…I think, the people who gave out the awards.  Did the firm handshake.  My tutor then passed me my envelopes.  I stood there completely amazed.  My mum had told me I won two but I specifically heard “an” in the phone call so to win three was just surreal.

Later on I was introduced to…Weston Beamor representitive?  I’m failing to remember.  The pictures were taken and I saw Bobby (classmate).  Congratulations to him for winning the Sutton’s Award!  His work is very unique.  Congratulations to Chloe (classmate) for her award also, I would have gone to speak to her but I have to work today so I couldn’t stay long – not that I did anyway.
